One thing that really got me with State of Mind was the bassline. I do like this rework, it makes the track more 2010s. But the original has a special place in my heart

Yeah for me the original with that bassline is but after Bryans rework, he used all the exact same audio stems as mine and just switched up the kick and bass which let it sit within a modern set nicely and he done a great job with it. It was one of the popular tracks in his sets too.
I love the kick on it, has a really nice punch.

We can't keep saying that for one and a half decade now. This sound isn't modern, it's generic, it's been the template overused sound for 15 years now.

Really happy with what BK has done with it and pushed it in his sets.

Im so happy that it will get another chance to catch peoples attention, BUT I am not a huge fan of the choice of kick and bassline in the remix. Original is 10 thats for sure

Pleased with the results on this Kearney Rework though.

Yeah,i just cant imagine you having to sell many copies to get the top 10...but i dont know the figures. I get the impression only really DJs use Beatport nowadays...everyone just streams now.
