Enlusion is back on his own label with a brand new 2-track EP. Every time when he finds himself in the process of producing something for Forescape it means there are no musical borders, he doesn't have to please anyone, nobody would tell him that it's too trancey or not techy enough, it's all about the musical content. These 2 tracks differ a lot from each other. 'Resilience' is a Progressive Breaks tune with the trademark Coldharbour bassline, lushious leading melody and piano, while on the other hand we have Nautical Twilight, and this one is all about the serious Progressive Trance side, It's dark, driving and keeps progressing all the way, the main leading arp here is made out of 3 different synths, making it sound futuristic and non-generic.

Short videos with the project files here too:

This was a solid release from you.

WTF

I might be harsh with my critique in general towards producers but this is just straight up rude and nasty. .Its like here what do you think about my new tracks and then you respond the person saying these old tracks of yours was good. imagine you responding like this IRL.

I disagree is it wrong for me to prefer previous or older productions that means I am not even supposed to have opinion at all. My post may not have been descriptive but I like to keep it short and sweet saying this production was a solid production from you nothing offensive . You are overthinking things man. IRL I would ideally keep my opinions to myself if asked about it I would open up just like a normal person because I know better without offending anyone. I don't think my comment was offending and I am not going to apologise for something that wasn't offending at all how is this any different from me comparing or preferring older tracks from the senior members of trance or house music producers? In fact he should welcome it because he and I have shared tunes in the past and he has passed his own view on tracks he has liked an disliked so it's a healthy exchange.

In all seriousness though, I like some aspects of NT, but wished there was something more to it. Can't put my finger on it though, unfortunately. Will listen to the other track later.

Well, on thing I dont like (yes haha) is that the bassline comes in from 00.01. And that its basically a steroid sidechained bassline slowed down. It ruins it for me. Modern tracks are a brilliant example of never introduce the bassline later in the mix. I use to go nuts when they introduced the bassline later. It was almost the star of the track. Now its just a thing running in the background. Yeah, you kind of do this when the extra sub-bass comes in at 1 min. the track SOUNDS brilliantly mixed when all the frequencies run in unison, but this is just the technical side im talking about. I do miss a bit more musical variation. Its a bit rhytmically dull aswell,It stays a bit monotone. It never builds towards anything more interesting. Its just a bit of layering, which does sound good technically" but it never blossom into anything. Ant the intro and outro is almost non-existing.

First of all, thanks for your feedback guys! My expectations on this release were next to zero as I haven't even shown these tracks to any of my producer friends before sending stuff to the stores, and I usually do so. I just wanted to create 2 tracks for my soul, which I'll listen on repeat for weeks and months. I finished Resilience in June and I still listen to it every week, multiple times. It took me 7 weeks to finish, and it was all worth it.

There will be a 3-track EP from me which is set to be released on JOOF early in 2023 where I did everything just like the label wanted. Do I still like those tracks? Yes, I do, but I had to significantly reduce the influence of Trance elements in all of them. I hate this «invasion» in my production process.

Nautical Twilight is my fav. of the two. Nice job (y)

Thank you!

This was a solid release from you.

I know that, even PvD played Harvester at ADE.

Nautical Twilight sounds great man. I like the breaks one too.

Cheers buddy!

Great to know you enjoyed this release in general :)

When I don't like a release posted on Trancefix or anywhere else I don't comment anything. It's great for the mental health too.

Nautical Twilight is a rad track. Maybe best one from the label all year

Well, it's only 5th and the last release of the year, but still a nice feedback, cheers!

Lots of atmosphere in Nautical Twilight, really like it

Sounds like I dodged the ban hammer this time, but definitely need to add MOAR atmospheres next time

In all seriousness though, I like some aspects of NT, but wished there was something more to it. Can't put my finger on it though, unfortunately. Will listen to the other track later.

Thanks man! After a hundred listens to this one I'm also starting to think that I have to open the project and add something :D

Great tracks Enlusion! Love the drive of Nautical Twilight and Resilience gives me Subtara vibes.

P.s. Will Forescape also make a return on Bandcamp?

Thank you Dominic!

As for Bandcamp, I don't think it's needed as this week I created a page on Patreon (link in my signature) where you can find different subscription options.

I'll be adding new releases there to be bought separately.
