nowt too exciting, the quality is there to a certain extent but musically it's nothing fresh or outstanding. Estiva can do better

And finally Stall is coming out! This was on the Colorscapes Volume 6 last year but was the only one that hadn’t had a release yet (I thought it would have been on his album but no)

As a trance lover heavily influenced by 2017-2019 Estiva (especially "Spectacle" & "Metamorphoses"), I personally think that Estiva's production is getting increasingly bland, emotionless and being more and more like pop since 2024.

Carnal Emotion has cheesy vocals that don't fit well in this version (I think the original is OK). Shores feels just like a typical prog house track and I may compare its drop to the Marsh remix of "Sun in Your Eyes". Stall (or I dare say most of the tracks from Cosmosky) is nothing short of those stereotypical and so-called "melodic techno" sounds which I am getting bored of.

Overall, Estiva is disappointing me over and over again. The person who has brought me into the deeper side of trance is now nowhere to be found.

The last time I've heard something truly amazes me from the main alias of Estiva is his "What Is Love EP" in 2023, but in fact, the track "Nostalgia" in the EP is a pre-2020 production that has already been played on ASOT 950.

Have you heard Everlasting memory? This is from 2007 so smooth and rhythmic and very melodic.

Yes I have first listened the EP 4 years ago! They are smooth and beautifully melodic indeed. My favorite track of the EP back then was "Tears Like Rain", this track sounds similar to some more-famous tracks in the 2005-2009 period.

For myself, I would always think about "The Whiteroom" when I listen to "Tears Like Rain".
