I know it's a sacrilege to talk about EV on this forum, but ya boy, who's the first in line to hate such cancerous things, watched it tonight and would like to know your opinions, impressions, favourites...or hateful thoughts.

I'll just post this here, since I'm on the other side of the pond and don't really know much about eurovision.

My fav. Such a great, powerful voice this guy has. At times I felt it was lip-synced, with the way he controls his vocal. Unreal. Liked the performance as well.

Could be a James Bond song if it was in English. The style is nothing new, but I felt it was tasteful and nothing felt forced or overstated.

The most interesting and unexpected song comes from Ukraine. So weird, lots of Slavic influences, mashed with the modern stuff.

Swiss song very good, agree with you. I was sure that this guy will win. Powerful voice as you said. What about Ukraine..Nothing special for me. Just song for any national celebration, but not for the Eurovision song contest. What about Italy. Song is not impressed me. How it won is question for me. But it's not matter. Finland is my favs. Not Lordi, but also what I like.

Fully with you Gagi. Switserland, with great vocals, and Ukraine were great. Ukraine gives you a sort of raw dirty rave feeling. Like in the Matrix 3, the huge rave in the cave. Very catchy and original entry.

I also liked Croatia's "Tick Tock" and the Denmark semi-80's entry. But both of those didn't make the final though.
