Meh. Uplifting trance is so boring. This is still a template, only less obnoxious. The production is good, but that melody does nothing for me.

(You said I could say what I want...)

So why do you bother? :) Still dont get these comments bashing the new uplifting stuff here...
You said many times you are not into this kind of uplifting genre, so just skip it then

As for the tune, its one of the better tracks on the album...good enough to score 7/10

Well... I love trance. So I listen to it, and hope to find something good. And if I listen, I comment. Why should I not do that?

I personally don't get how people don't get bored of the same things all over again, but I don't go around telling that. I just say that it's boring, you rate it 9/10, there is balance in the universe.

I havnt really been impressed by his stuff in whole - although this is probably one of the better melodies from the album - but as i said before,i wish he would automate his main synth more so it builds and progresses into the track - it seem to go to the highest octave straight away. He needs to go listen to old MIKE tracks and see how he progressed his melodies to a euphoric climax.

His remix of Pulse by Neptune Project, released in full, is the only thing that can save Factor B from a downfall greater than Mick Dundee's when he went looking for wildlife in Los Angeles.

Why do you bother giving it a high rating each time? We can guess you are going to like it.

I'd echo what Gagi said, I don't get how you don't get bored of listening to the same thing over and over again.

Maybe thats because I love trance...and this is trance forum...so where is the problem? Of course I dont like everything, I can be pretty critical sometimes. I also prefer the old times...but that does not mean I Will bash every new uplifting stuff. I try to understand the producers...why they do it like this today. Im also very active trance party man, even in my mid 30s. So i sometimes judge the tracks from my live experiences as well. You can hate steroids...but that actually sounded so damn good when Porter dropped this kind of trance on a huge system on Transmission Prague for example....

People are allowed to dislike what they don't like... And this is a forum. Where's the problem in that?

The point was that I think Its quite unnesesary to open a thread with a subgenre that I dont like and put a disslike comment.

You've commented loads of times on solid progressive tracks with comments like 'it's not melodic enough' and 'it doesn't go anywhere without a melody' .... so you do it yourself. It's really weird then that you should complain when people criticise generic trance.

True, but that does make more sense since I consider myself as a progressive lover as well and I can appreciate a good new progressive tunes. Yeah its a forum so we can discuss about it. I dont have anything against Gagi, I think his comments are usualy very constructive. But speaking more in general, I think that this forum consist of like 90% of people who used to love trance somewehere back in time but hates most of the stuff released today. Sometimes I understand the reasons...sometimes I think some of you guys should go on and enjoy what you like, there is no one holding you in trance territory....

But well, its quite weird what Im saying, cause I am personally also a lover of 99-04 period and my alltime list consist only from tracks from this period, but well, somehow I accepted where the trance style developed...but most of you cant really stand it

And I get your points, but I don't think I'll stop voicing my opinions - and neither should you. This is a place for discussion.

And I also think that if my criticism was outlandish, no one would have a problem with it - everyone would just laugh at and dismiss it. I don't think it's outlandish or untrue, though.

and those "old complaining farts" are well within their right to express their malcontent at every opportunity that arises.

and you (and I) are well within ours to either 1, shrug and ignore that. or 2, reply to one of the ad nauseum onslaught of "Evuryting Used T0 b4 BettUR" comments with something along the lines of: "Well, thats you small but very valid opinion, and I kindly whipe my ass of with that" 🍻 😘

everybody wins, 🤷‍♂️

The trouble is that everyone is hyping up and praising mediocrity these days. I see so many people on social media talk about Factor B as if hes one of the best trance producers ever.
I also do think he is overrated. I can't really see much difference between him and other mediocre producers. He is well known for his extremely long breakdowns. Solarstone pointed out that some of his tracks has 4minutes breakdown...which is crazy and I'm not a fan of that

well sometimes a sound just ticks for people, and apparently its a lot. mediocrity/template stuff has its benefits.

it doesn't take a lot of mental efford to listen/enjoy it. I often get flack for liking simple pop tunes like "call me maybe" or insert any other easy listening stuff but well, i genuinly, sometimes, like it.

its like rewatching episodes of the A team. you know full well going into it whats going to happen, how its going to end and probably Hanibals precise epicness quotes. And boy is that a comforting/relaxing experience.

aaaah. no need to think or do anything mentally. Bliss.
