Federation - Something to Dream About [2011]

Solarstone and Ben Lost's goth rock-meets-trance hybrid project Federation burst onto the scene in 2011 with 'Synchronized' and 'Innocent Desire', both on Perfecto Fluoro, but this track was only ever released as a CDR. A damn shame, because as a result I didn't hear of it until nearly a decade later, and I consider it to be the single best thing they ever did under this alias:

The overall vibe immediately reminded me of Black Tide (which came out the year after this). Wonder why they didn't just release it through Feed The Moth. Sure, the label got formed - or more accurately, had its first outing - in 2013, but still.

It's a great track, and definitely would've fit somewhere within the Fluoro release schedule. That said, Quiero is untouchable for me.
