Commercially successful track by Ferry. Fire was one of the trance tracks that made it across the pond - I remember hearing this one in elementary school in Mexico.

First Ferry track I ever owned (Flashover remix). Also reminding me of School days. Had completely forgotten about it until now, so thanks. Would be better without the vocals though, but dont hate em.

It started out as a remix of:

The vocals are indeed taken from "Serious" (with permission from Duran Duran / Simon Le Bon), but it never started out as a remix. Ferry just liked this track and the vocals, so he decided to use this for a new track.

Simon and Ferry quickly got to meet before a Duran Duran concert in Amsterdam btw:

The track is pretty good. It's sort of addictive and groovy, although the track doesn't offer much variety (for me, someone who usually prefers bigger anthemic trance). Flashover Remix my favorite version. Actually no, there's a very cool Ron van den Beuken Remix of this one:
