Released following trance's commercial peak, Corsten's third studio album fuses a lot of his old production, the electro/techno of whatever the hell L.E.F. was and elements of what we would call today as 'trouse' into something that is recognizable even in 2026.

Resulted in at least two big singles, and Gabriella's Sky:

Flashover has a separate YouTube playlist of the album but below 1080p quality.

I really loved it when it was released but somehow the tracks on this album have not stuck with me after a while. I loved the Visions of Blue ambient track a lot as well.

the release party of this album was amazing by the way. Ferry Corsten playing all night.

I will probably be in a minority here, but I actually prefer L.E.F. to this. While Twice In A Blue Moon was definitely more trance oriented and better produced, I always found it somewhat difficult to get into, unlike L.E.F.

still had some great tracks though. Radio crash, Made Of Love, We Belong, Brainbox and visions of blue all come to mind.

Like the post above I really liked it when it released, but never come back to it today. Gabriella Sky was probably the track I like the most, and I still enjoy it somewhat, but doesn't hit the same way. Even by 2008 the lovely oldschool sound design that makes the golden era stuff timeless is missing. It doesn't sound bad though. Still way more balanced and pleasant than a modern equivalent. No plastic sounds at all. Made of Love is actually good for a commercial trance track. Radio Crash quite unique too. If this was the commercial ceiling Trance stopped at would have been perfect.
