System F - Needlejuice
System F - Elevate
System F - Ignition, Sequence, Start
System F - Solstice
System F - Adagio For Strings
System F - Out Of The Blue
Gouryella - Ligaya
Gouryella - Gouryella
Binary Finary - 1999 (Gouryella Remix)
Ferry Corsten - Lonely Inside
Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella - Venera (Vee’s Theme)
Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella - Orenda
Gouryella - Walhalla
Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella - Surga
Gouryella - Tenshi
Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella - Neba
Ferry Corsten feat. HALIENE - Wherever You Are

Yeah I was going to post it as well. Incredible trip down memory lane!

And Ferry always has such a nice and down to earth attitude. If I had to name only one producer among my favorites, I woud say his name with no hesitation whatsoever.

Just a little sad that he never plays his original remix of Adagio for Strings, but the System F's rework instead, which IMHO is not nearly as good.

Also too bad he plays those 135 bpm ‘reworks’ of the Gouryella classics.

They are a tad weaker and lack the magic.

Yeh, best part of the show for me when that came on. Good to hear him talk about and how it's secretly one of his favs.

Yeh I noticed that. The kick changes annoyed me too.

Second hour of latest ASOT is AvB b2b Ferry vinyl set, no talking besides intro and outro

Also liked that final considerations (starting at 01:50:40) about the classic tracks, basically they admitted how better those tracks are compared to modern trance :ROFLMAO:
I know it's a lost cause, but I wish in the radioshow they would go into the technical details of the tracks more often, like they just did. Doesn't have to be a super nerdy thing, just something else beside the usual "wow, what a great song"

More like they talking down on it..uhuhuh it was soo simple back in the day, nothing going on blah blah blah...tracks sooo loong...uhuhuh,less is more armins standard quote. He said the same in 2015 about the pseudo psy uplifting. He doesnt know what hes talking about. Always these cheesy avoid-the-real-question/issue from Armin. I think hes really in denial. Ferry less so, but also.

Its baffling these men has such a bad taste/warped taste of music. They are 10 years older than me and at one point 10-15 years ago I seemed to go in a parallel line with these men in terms of similar music taste.

Them saying it was more empty back then: definitely true.

now tracks are loaded with tons of layers and percussion loops to mask the averageness of melodies and synth sound choices.

With less layers, each layer must be spot on, it must have a purpose, a pleasant sound, a memorable melody.

Simpler means harder to produce, imo

I still got some enjoyment watching these two legends just genuinely enjoying themselves playing some real old classics on vinyl. A world away from Armin's modern ASOT/festival scene. Great to hear tracks like Vimana and Soundcheck - not really big anthems either.
