@LostLegend, quite shocked at how well we are doing this season. Started to enjoy football again. I know it's tight in mid table, so could easily be like 13th by end of year, but we look completely different. KDH is sick too.

Yeah, much improved on last season!

I managed to go to the match last night, Burnley were dreadful, but good to see us put in a good performance.
KDH is an excellent signing and N’Diaye is like a cheat code for us 😆

Really enjoying this season overall. It seems much more open, rather than all the usual suspects taking up the top spots.
Hopefully we can get a run going and push for a European spot! 🤞

So who's going to win the world cup? I'm going for Portugal this year.

I am so excited for the tournament it's always a big celebration in my country, which is Türkiye. I think we beat USA, Australia and Paraguay :devilish:.

For the winners, it surely must be France, with the attack they have and the good manager.

They need a new uniform designer. They are looking like waldo. Brazil played a boring game just like they have been playing for a long time.

I know the dudes here are all plugged in to the world cup, but my team just won its first basketball championship in 53 years and the whole city has gone crazy, I've never experienced New York like this. I'm ecstatic, not stopped partying for 24 hours didn't sleep a wink last night. This is the best feeling in the world.

but back on topic... I'm still excited for whats happening for the soccer. The fan zones are incredible so far, the first game was a ride. Australia next Friday which will be tough I feel.

Absolutely loving the WC so far. Being in the timezone definitely helps, I've watched one or two games everyday, and always 20 min highlights in the morning of what I missed. Fantastic first round of games, with some small upsets and drama. Love that teams that have never been in the WC are getting results, or at least a goal to cheer for against harder teams (like Uzbek last night). Going to see Mexico vs South Korea with some new Mexican friends I made tonight. Just love the energy and togetherness of what this sport brings.

my team did not make it (again), but the world cup remains a special tournament I must alway follow, regardless of chile involvement. this tournament it will be france or england to win is my estimate, but it's always possible argentina have a good one once more. initially i was hestitant about the expansion to allow more teams, but many of these new nations have not dissapointed.

I've not seen this type of energy in my city for years. Super stoked to have all these international fans enjoy Toronto, and although I never watched soccer before in my life, I have really enjoyed cheering Canada in the games 🇨🇦

WC2026 They're really selling a luxury spectacle to those who are ignorant from birth... The last show of freedom, as it's known... It's been a complete scandal since it started, and the decisive stages haven't even been played yet.

If you truly choose to turn a blind eye to what's happening in Europe... you're actually complicit in things going wrong...

You must be fully aware that football has ceased to be a sport... it has become consumerism and gambling... look at what they are doing during every water break... observe the football players... they didn't ask for this... but observe every commercial break... CONSUMPTION.

Broooo! Knicks were rocking there! Comeback from minus 29 in 4th game🤯

Anyway, I'm happy for NYC, they deserved it!

My prediction is... that Netherlands would take the cup. Don't ask me why, idk myself, I just feel like it

But mu favourites are Japan, Uzbekistan and Iran. But Uzbekistan was eliminated😢. Hopes that Japan will make it at least to quarterfinals

SO to disallow that goal against Germany. Incredible shoot out to follow. Couldn't believe what I was watching, feel bad for them, but lovely story for the Para's
