New chapter of Giuseppe’s career :)

As OTTAGON, a nod to the name of his new live show, Giuseppe Ottaviani deepens the connection between trance and melodic techno, pushing forward Find You as exhibit A. Driven by pulsating bass, exquisite synthwork and an enigmatic vocal presence, Find You is the perfect kickoff of the Italian DJ and producers new project.

I'm just wondering how he's gonna make the concept of using eight MIDI keyboards simultaneously work. I have a lot of respect for anyone who can pull of creating electronic music live rather than simply mixing it, but that seems like too much for any one person. We will see.

Exactly, typical template melodic techno, it was kinda exciting in 2020, now I am super bored of this same sound all over again :)
Guess what, the most touching thing for me in this sentence is that 2020 is 5 years ago.

At that time, I just graduated from high school. It's also the year I started to listen to trance outside Armin like Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond, Aly & Fila, BT and more.

These memories are still vivid in my mind. How time flies.

Looks like he won't be returning to Trance..

Cool story bro! - I wish I had facebook to rebutt against him but I hope he does read this not that he cares.

I personally think the edm clones he is making are no different from the EDM shite being played by his new friends he has made. It only makes him happy because it's bringing him more gigs and money that's what he is happy about it. The NU-NRG sound or trance sound is what brought him big success initially and built a foundation for him. What is he on about that trance lacks creativity is he referring to? All of his old trance tracks don't sound the same at all. Sorry I don't agree with him in fact his edm tracks sound exactly the same as they sound like EDM clones. He just doesn't want to admit or he is in denial that he can't make a living off making trance music so he jumped ship and went into the EDM bandwagon just to stay relevant within the scene . What a load of hogwash I just read from him.

All new Octagon tracks. Number eight has a potential to be something massive, there also a few nice ideas and some worse.
I don't know what's worse the headache from the noise or the seizure from the flashing lights?

I totally get why a producer would get burnt out doing the same thing over and over, especially if they’ve already done all the stuff they wanted and made their best tracks. It’s not a big shock if they try something different and it doesn’t feel that new. At least they’re being straight up about it, unlike someone like Armin van Buuren who keeps putting out kinda meh stuff under the A State of Trance name. What really bothers me is that we’re not seeing any new trance artists popping up to take over when the old legends leave. You’d think they’d be full of energy and new ideas, but they’re just not there. It seems like trance is just not hitting the new generation; they’re more into melodic house and techno

But the thing is he is not doing the same stuff over and over none of his tracks sound the same unlike this EDM phase and I think this whole thing about trance not being a creative genre is a lame ass excuse and I don't buy it one bit. This change is purely to engage with more fans so he can generate more dumber fans without very little effort. Airwave is a great example of someone moving on with the time and another example is Schiller the output is still nice from him. I can't say the same for GO this is extremely watered down stuff from him and he is trying to act cool with the kids.
