Starpicker remix sounded like melodic techno but in faster BPM.
But I like how he treat the melody on the climax.

The original feels a bit directionless, sorry. The remix excites me more! It's awesome, although the climax could've been better, melodically speaking. Why include a riff instead of that melody from the break?

Starpicker version is quite yummy, surprised to see him doing more underground type of trance...Both versions will get quite high marks from me after proper listen

Yeah in hindsight guys, not my best work. This is a few years old. The story behind this - it was at a time the studio being built, so I produced it on headphones.
Studio has been up and running for a while now, which is where Limitless was born. ;)

Why release it "just because" ?
Just because? You're mistaken. It sounded fine on the headphones I used. I don't use them anymore - obviously......
Furthermore, it was one I wanted to release despite not having a full setup at the time (house move) as it's in memory of a good friend, David Shuttlewood, who passed away shortly before I had my studio built so I wanted to produce a track in his honour, but hey, if @Daysleeper isn't happy, I guess none of us should be.

Producers release waaay to much these days and labels accept waaaay to much going to release..

Its like every project gets released these days.

With all due respect, you only post about classic trance with the exception of S&T which then was a criticism of them post 2016 on their FSOE release.
If the latest Trance isn't for you, then it begs the question why you're here? If you're here to appreciate 2004 and previous, then great! It was the best era for Trance - no doubt.
If what you're saying is a discredit to me and my work, then I can rest on my laurels and not be too perturbed by the fact that Daysleeper isn't happy but others are. I'm sure I'll sleep at night.
Let's be honest here (because this isn't all I have to say) - you're very negative towards artists, so let's hear your latest work. I mean this in the utmost respect because whilst I understand that as a listener, everyone is entitled to an opinion, you seem to have an idea of what you'd like in modern Trance. Happy to discuss if you want me to try and write something you'd like but I suspect there'd be no pleasing you unless we go back in time.
Next track title - Daysleeper Loves Steroids. :D

Sorry man, I should't even have uttered any words in this thread.
I sense either:
A) A hint of sarcasm or
B) Someone who won't stand behind their words and back it up in a reasonable discussion.

I see you SO many times slating modern Trance like it is nothing to you, yet you spend time forming an opinion. When challenged, you back down.

I gave a good reason why this was released, yet your retort was 'Why release it "just because" ?' - I'll tell you why - read the damn description on the video. Understand that some artists release music for good reason and I've given an explanation why it wasn't quite the standards as afterwards.

I'm open to absolutely EVERY piece of criticism from artists if it helps shape me as an artist. I've had lots of "this is sh*t" and "sort this bit out" from reputable names and I've done so, but PLEASE show me a comment where you're happy with the latest Trance. Intrigued as I suspect you'll be digging into the archives of this forum for quite some time.

In the nicest possible way - you are entitled to your taste so please don't think I'm taking that away from you because I'm not - I promise. However, just try to either appreciate music for what it is now or move on; find a hobby. Maybe enjoy nostalgic revisiting of Trance without slating current or, even better, don't bother listening to the latest stuff at all.

Peace out. :)

Ignore him, he's a troll. He doesn't support trance at all and is just here looking for attention.

not going to comment on the mix as i'm currently also bound to headphones/no proper studio.

Liking the themes/melodies, and the remix is great
