My name is Diego, in my 30's, and have been listening to trance since I was 12 and fell in love with it. The trance from the late 90's and early 2000's have left quite an impression on me. While modern trance has it's own unique style, I've always been old school and mark that time as the best time for trance music. Maybe I'm also just getting old!
A lot of my influences are from the first trance albums I listened to: Ibiza Euphoria, mixed by Matt Darey and The Best Trance Anthems Ever, mixed by John 00 Fleming. Some labels I love are Hooj Choons, Platipus, Xtravaganza, Noom Records, Bonzai, Frequency 8, etc. Just classic trance, really.
I wanted to register here, introduce myself, and connect with fellow trance heads who share the same sentiment. I'm also a producer that goes by the alias "Second Nature" and wanted to see if anyone else is producing old school or cybertrance in 2020! Please let me know if there are some artists, I would love to hear their music. I always go on YouTube to listen to classic trance and the comments are always mentioning things like, "they don't make this kind of music anymore," or "I miss this kind of trance." Hoping to fill that void with the music I produce.
As of now, I'm compiling music to eventually release, hopefully around the new year. I'm nearly finished with a full length album and would also love to share it with the community and contribute to help keep the lost sound of early 2000's trance alive.
Looking forward to connecting with you all and participating in the forum
