Man I miss Wim/Icone. Used to chat to him a fair bit back in my Tranceaddict forum days. We remixed each others tunes on a couple of occasions. I did briefly speak to him in the comments of his personal YouTube account a few years ago, but it appears he’s not active making trance music any more.

Really enjoyed your remix, in particular the synth work sounds really nice.
It has that old school sound, but feels like it would work just as well in a modern set.

Its great that you can still actually search all those old posts on TA - i joined way back in 2005 and the producers forum was great. I remember characters like Mr.Mystery,who was that era's Daysleeper haha - and great producers coming through like Subtara.

Nik was alright, if a bit of a curmudgeon.
He put together the ‘Unite’ mixes which were showcases for a lot of the amateur producers on there at the time, I think a couple of them are still up on YouTube somewhere.

Thanks for the positive feedback on this track guys, I was actually in talks for a while with Chris Hampshire about releasing it on the tracks original label Discover, but never materialised in the end

I feel like I could listen to Icone for eternity and was surprised how he never ran out of ideas in those days. What's changed now ?

If he was to produce now sure it will sound modern but 80/90% will still feel like we're listening to Icone signature sound.

Remix sound good can i has a copy please?
