First heard in his Instagram as a tease, then later on ASOT, his Twitch streams and even used as (believe it or not) Anjunabeats Elevations promo material...
This is a still unreleased yet great track that if gets released on Anjunabeats will break the 138 / Uplifting Trance silence after 9 years (2011).

Hasn't been claimed by content ID. At least not correctly.

wouldnt surprise if theres a deal done betweeen Ilan and Anjuna .... their manager did say and i quote .. ' if the track fits Anjuna, we will sign despite the bpm and upliftingness' 🤣

They did say that but it doesn't really seem to be true and just a PR stunt. IIRC we've had Nitrous Oxide and Daniel Kandi complain publicly on Facebook about them.

I mean, 9 years without a single 138 release. It has become a joke in and out of itself.
I really don't understand what stops them from publishing this sort of music.

It's like someone (ahem...) in there, REALLY, REALLY hates uplifting trance with a passion, and wants it as far from the label as possible.
Which is ironic and like stepping on their own past, since they were built from this sort of sound. There's not even a sublabel?

I also don't accept what Gareth Jones* said on Reddit. "We would publish 138 if we received more of those productions".
If that statement was true, Armin would have completely abolished WAO138. The very same guy who now produces borderline pop music.

Kandi is fuming about his treatment from Anjuna !

Apart from that annoying ride what goes trough break and almost whole track, this is really nice track! Some of those kick fxs are a bit strange.

ilan's first 138 tracks so I guess that's why. He once tried to produce Retrowave, In fact, there's one in Scars and the mastering/eq is horrible.

Ilan's 138 stuff has been pretty solid regardless, but a bit of a shame he's only been playing it on his streams and sets, no labels yet. Definite signs of him being a beginner to the style but they're still very enjoyable uplifting tracks.

Do I want Anjunabeats to release this track and go back to their older sound (if not always, then just for some releases)? Without a doubt (although in the past few years I've liked more of their stuff).
Do I believe they'll release it? Nope, not at all. Not until it's actually out.

We'll see which label releases it though, time will tell. Great one!

I grew to like Anjuna's "group therapy" gimmick. It's classy and it works. Not sure I want this on Anjuna

Fortunately or unfortunately we don't get to decide what's going to release on the label...
I'd be glad to see it being released solely because of those 9 years without releasing the type of sound that put the label on the charts.

Might have had some help from Maor Levi. The keen ear of Spider-Vice noticed that...
@ 0:50 has some synth stabs that sound just like Avoriaz.

As some of you may know, ilan and Maor are very close together, produce together and have the same manager...

20s on the video in the OP.

Not a bad track at all, and of course I would love more music like this on Anjuna and for them to start supporting/encouraging it again. I feel like every classic Anjunabeats track shared on their youtube channel is filled with 'make uplifting again' style comments, but maybe they generally dont believe there is enough quality out there to warrant a sub-label. Dont see any harm of releasing it in the Anjunabeats label personally...

It's all a matter of taste I guess. I really like Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep releases. Pure class to me.

Please let other labels stick to to 138 plz.

Love this track and I agree with @Hensmon thoughts here.

Would be amazing to have the modern anjunasound + uplifting back in their shows/set. But the thing is - uplifting should only be used in small (er) quantites, and mostly at the end of sets. Thats why it was so successful back in the heyday, and then we starting to see just way too many uplfting tunes being created, supported, played, everywhere, in whole sets, over and over.

But I cerrtainly dont want the old formulas or sounds back, but a reinvention of uplfting. Would be so cool to see uplifting take new costume on, change shape a little, some new sounds added, and cut down on the steroids ofc.

Not that I care THAT much. It is what it is ;)

A good track, has potential. I'd much prefer a richer sound design. So far it seems a bit too simple.
