massive track. The only think i dislike about it is the open high hat.

I remember this being one of the main reasons I bought ISOS Ibiza. This remix still sends shivers down my spine.

This never got a vinyl release did it? I assume everything on Discogs are dodgy bootlegs?

Was Imogen Heap popular or well-known in the US and/or other territories? I'm astounded to have just found out that she's English as she had absolutely no profile over here whatsoever.

I remember she was somewhat recognizable back in the mid 2000s here in the USA. Hide and Seek being her biggest hit. Nowadays I think she’s only known for having hide and seek being sampled in that one pop/rap song(name is escaping me).

Also, sorry for the double quotation. :p.

Jason Derulo - Whatchya Say

That's my only exposure to her really, although I didn't even realise that until I looked up the original of Hide & Seek last night. I retrospectively enjoyed her vocals in Frou Frou - Breathe In (Watkins Mix), but again that was never a hit in the UK and I only discovered it through an old set a few years ago.

I was a bit of Imogen Heap nerd back in the day. She's a bit too experimental now for my liking but in the mid 2000's she was untouchable as far I was concerned.

Her tracks have featured on many films but the big hit at the time was when Hide & Seek was used in the season 2 finale episode of the O.C which was massive at the time. The killers also found fame through that show as well.

Dance music wise I first heard her as part of Frou Frou - Breathe In (Watkins Mix). Her album Speak for yourself is a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned and should be listened to.

She's certainly big, she's won grammys and Ivor Nello awards and really pushes the limits on how technology can be used to create and play music. Her shows are quite something.

However, despite all of this I still appriecate her contribution to Trance the most. Whilst she didnt sing the vocal she did write the lyrics to Way Out West - Mindcircus and tunes don't come much better than that.....

Cool, I didn't know this. I wonder why she chose not to be the vocalist?

Hide and Seek is such a nice track
