Hmmm. not crazy about the not so very original kick/bassline combo here, but the track with that stuttering melody atleast feels a bit different. Overall though, based on the longer sample , it comes out too flat, because of the really repetitiv and lazy drum/percs arrangement. theres no sense of progression-deprogression/build/debuil or valleys/peak. And with sooooo many other tracks, it has like 30%creativity 70% lazyness and it doesnt feel like a full complete track. Its like producers these days take an idea the makes 30/40% of the track and just fills the rest with a non-creative template.

The new Borderline tracks so far do come across a little straightforward and missing a creative edge or identity. I have been enjoying their output though, and continue to listen to the ones released so far happily. The solid foundation and approach is right here, but the potential is not fully reached, through lack or idea and emotion. I think the production sounds fantastic on this one though.

The main lead has lots of potential, but its progression is just default. I agree with the man above.

Also agreeing with Manofearth, though personally I look forward to every single release regardless since it's giving me at least some fresh yet classic-y vibes as opposed to the 95% copy-paste uplifting (to me, at least) I come across on the bigger labels.

As for this one: yup! Liking the lead and melody, definitely a banger overall.

The sound is clear while the melody aint resonating with me this time, it goes nowhere...
