But when you released unique sounding classics like L'Esperanza, Twisted and so on.... then all these standard 'plucky uplifters' are kinda a letdown. Way too average for a name that was once so big. But it's like the First State team without Ralph, without the actual studio-geek there's not that many production-magic left...
Have to agree with Magnevi. It's plucky and not too steroid without it wanting to be. Not a track id say is rememberable. The beat for me overpowers too but that's personal preference in a track like this, which is trying to be emotional.
