I like it! A sunny laidback tune for the spring/summer. But enough trance inside to fly away.

Everything is fantastic...but yeah those synths come in are so messy and harsh to my precious ears. Tastexperience made that aqua sun track right?

nope, the break is nice but its just generic isnt it? Taste-experience should leave supersaws for others....

I wonder how Gielen teamed up with those guys haha

I missed this one. Not a fan of that synth. It has an odd flow to it.

funny how opinions differ.... to me the synths flow nicely and the melody has a really epic feel. the tune is a well worked marriage of two different styles = Gielen's pumping and euphoric and TX's more refined style of trance, hence the piano and those south american style panpipes...
and it's neither too pumping nor soft, just right :p

I think it's pretty decent. Far from outstanding, but I enjoyed it.

The main lead kinda borders on being too harsh/over the top, but still ok, imo.

Y'all complaining about the lead synth never heard Airscape - L'Esperanza? I had the same comments about the lead synth in that classic. It seems like that is the track which inspired Johan Gielen & TasteXperience for this production.
Honestly, the lead synth is nowhere as annoying as the one in Airscape - L'Esperanza, so if this synth bothers you then I can't imagine what you must think about that classic.

Haha... yes, this sounds like any number of old school productions, including many of Gielen's own, but not as harsh...

Comparing with L’Esperanza is silly. This ‘modern’ supersaw in this new track is noizy. Its not bold, phat or strong, like the old Svenson & Gielen synths. Those had character.

Its thin, weak, plastic. Its template-y, without any character.
Well it's not as phat as L'esperanza but I think that's the point, it's meant to be a crossover between Gielen's and TX styles. Works for me anyway

Gave this another try.. another listen..a new perspective.

Not bad

not bad

I can see why its "better" than other modern uplifting shit. How hard is that to achieve though?

It has some qualites to it, but I think ultimately what it comes down to for me is the cheeso-meter hits too high. Its not the usual cheese of the modern uplifter either. Just too many dolphins that jump 100 ft into the air transforming into paradise birds wearing rollerblades riding rainbow-roads into the sunset vibes(especially for the lead) and high amount of white noise/crowded sound design and weird acoustics when all the stuff plays together with the mainlead. Its like there's too much sounds competing for attention but nothing really comes through, but they are still trying so hard to get those power-synth chords to be the mainattraction, but it doesnt succeed hence the weird accoustics of it all. My ears cant decipher if its in the front of the mix or in the back or in the middle. It just has a really confusing and weird placement in the mix.

I tried to figure out the track again after the bump but I guess this description is the closest to my thoughts so I'll give it a rest lmao

I'll add that it sounds like it didn't go through EQ after the 2nd producer added his contributions, like the sharppp lead that should've sounded smooth 2003'ish-like

Something does feel a bit too plasticky about this one / that white noise really irritating during the main chunk of the song when it kicks in around 03:21, will try listening to it via speakers instead of headphones (but afraid to say that Fiio Bass boost didn't reduce much of that unnecessary white noise)
