In terms of sound design for modern digital psy prog it sounds good but generic and very flat no real memorable melody at all. Lacks emotions and it sounds like a very apathetic tune just a flat line.Empty as my fridge...
I got into the genre back in the 90's dude. You can mostly pick what generation of trance someone got into this music in. If they think trance is always soaring melodies and miss the point of the throbbing hypnotic groove and evolving acid lines you know it was later in the game.
I feel sorry for these people tbh.
this tune here, however is neither properly groovy nor melodic, it's boring nothing"No memorable melody or emotion"
it has a dare i say 'masculine' groove and is exactly the type of thing you forget everything on earth to on the dancefloor while you follow that little synth line on its journey.
Thats trance imo
I've heard this kind of stuff in 1000 other psy prog tracks out there it's easily forgettable. Of course, it's forgettable because the tracks themselves are forgettable never to be played again."No memorable melody or emotion"

In this track, for example, there is also no melody, only rhythm. Nevertheless, I would unconditionally include it in my top 10 trance tracks of all time, closer to top 3. That said, I think the track by John 00 Fleming & Luis M is a boring, lazy piece of work"No memorable melody or emotion"
