I think this one deserves a little back story...
Back in March, I played at Frantic at Ministry of Sound (Amazing night, 10/10) John Askew was on after me. Oddly enough, despite years of playing the same events, our paths had barely crossed until then. Even that night, it was just a brief moment—a quick cwtch (hug) as I handed over the decks.
The next day, I got a message from John asking if I’d be up for remixing his track Recalibrate for VII. A genuine honour, both to work on one of his tracks and to be part of the label.
