Hola everyone, I have not posted on Trancefix before. But now I registered to share something I made.

I try making trance with a real classic feeling from 1998-2002 era. What do you think? Maybe no labels will be interested with the classic trance sounds, but that is okay. I make it for fun and my passion :) I would like your opinion and tips on my music. Thank you! 🧞‍♂️🧞‍♂️🧞‍♂️

Nothing from me to add, but I think you nailed that classic sounds. As for label, you could try sending it to some "leftfield" trance label, such as Underzone, Kulør, UTM/United Trance Mission, or maybe Ute. Or just do a self release on Bandcamp. There's already an established scene for these sounds.
Btw do you produce it all in the box or there's hardware involved too?

Just listened.

It has ALOT of 90s invented sounds, but its well-made actually. It is fun, and nostalgic sounding, borh in feel and soundwise.

Good job!

I really enjoyed it. There's nothing I dislike. I am long tired of the current trance scene, or at least 99% of it. Well done for making something that stands out.

Thank you guys for the positive replies 🥳🥳 90's trance can be a bit cheese and not so serious, but that is why I like it. Like the whisper vocal I implemented in my track. A bit over the top maybe for modern trance. But creates nice atmosphere.

I would love having some hardware, but due to expenses I only use software atm :) I do use many classic sounding plugin's and old samples. For example the Roland 909 VST, and Adam Szabo VST's. Nexus also has some good classic sounds.

Hey Julian. Apologies, but I accidentally deleted your account when removing a bunch of spam accounts from the databass. Oops! You'll have to reregister to post again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Regarding the track...It's very cool, fun and enjoyable. You nailed the oldskool vibe, everything sounds spacious and has character and it has a simple feel to it. Kick and hats sound great. Hoping you post some more here in the future!

That lead melody surprised me! Think it could progress a bit better, and have a bit different production behind it, but nice ideas in here.

You've definately nailed the feeling of the late 90's trance sound. The bass patch is so evocative of that period and the vocal really sets it off.

Definately interested to hear more tunes in this old style!

Hola again, I have a new register now. Hensmon, you did not like my track and give me ban for it ;)

But really, here i am again. I am happy and bit suprised many of you like it and write kind words. Thank you for this!

Yes. For me the vocal makes the 90's feeling complete :) In modern trance this could be silly maybe. But in the 90's this was more normal i think. Really happy with that element.

Haha thank you. I read a lot, but not post much. Maybe I could write more on this forum.

Also. I am working on a new track. But I also work with my job, so it will not be very soon :) :)

Was just browsing through this section and simply had to listen to this one again. Holy post-covid balls the melody still hits hard. I also wonder what the classic trance connoisseur @DazTC thinks about this.
