absolutely love the bass, it's so strong and so soft at the same time just rapes <333 hundred times better than the original billie ray martin dogshit. vocals maybe nothing special but fit perfectly.

btw the most important question... is this jose amnesia or who did produce it? can't find it at least with out digging deeper.

Club Mix for me all day long, brilliant track. Discovered it on ASOT 2006 and fell in love with it (and the compilation) instantly.

Personally, to me this is a house track. Anyway, the original was written by Billie Ray Martin way back in 1995.

^ kinda, it's like trancey house and was featured on the ASOT 2006 yearmix and ISOS 5, so it's essentially a trance classic and it should be regarded as such

Delightful tracks. You mention the vocals as ‘nothing special’ which I agree, but imo that’s preferable as they compliment perfectly rather than overpowering the track which I find vocals often have a habit of doing..

Original is fucking superb. And yes it was Jose Amnesia who was the producer.

Club Mix is timeless. Loved Jose Amnesia back these days. So many classics.

Why don't they make Vocal tacks like this today? I think Overton improved on the original vocals and created them more haunting and subtle, mirrored in the production from Amnesia. It's deep, moody, brooding. 99/100 vocal tracks today only accompany massive Uplfiting synth heavy material and it feels almost like pop. Why? I sometimes come across non pop vocals with prog on JOOF radio but it feels very 'emo' yet paradoxally drawing no emotion (boring). Why is it at both extremes of the scale and no middle option. I don't know why this track triggered me to go on this rant, but its been a long time since I listened to this and its conjured up a lot of questions from a position of retrospect.

No idea why, maybe they are bored of that and wanted to try something 'different' but I have observed that there are only a few producers who make vocals like they did in the past the rest have just hopped on the bandwagon.

I would say that vocals like Karen Overton's have always been an outlier, and the vocals you see today are not too different from the usual vocals during trance's heyday. This is why Your Loving Arms stands out, and not random trance-pop from 1999.
Now, why the vocals in modern trance are boring is a separate issue. In my opinion, trance for the most part does not draw good vocalists, so you end up getting mediocre vocalists.
