Les Hemstock

Before I write this post I must confess I am very biased as I have an awful lot of respect for Les. He has never released a lot of mixes but my instroduction to trance was watching Les in the 1998/1999/2000 period.


I am a huge fan of him as both a DJ and producer and I wanted to share these mixes on a forum of trance lovers as I believe they are brilliant mixes from a period during which the music was out of the world.

There mixes are taken from old cassette tapes.



There is a load of them on there and I hope others get some enjoyment from them on his account.

Great guy - was chatting to him a few years ago, and he let me do a chilled version of Crimson Soil as he sent me the parts.

He was also part of 'Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers' which had UK chart success in the late 80's....my grandparents had the album,which is a bit crazy.

He was indeed part of Jive Bunny. Some great memories of talking trance with him in 1998 and 1999. I remember texting him during a fair few Essential Mixes in that period. Such an underrated DJ IMO.
