perfectly polished music was not a thing in the 90's. imo the kick fits very well

This is nice. Not a big fan of lo-fi kicks in Trance either, but not a deal breaker here.

I imagine this would be tricky to mix, as the synths feel silky smooth and the kick is more hard-edged. During the break, the kick is not distorted which means the producer must have done this on purpose.
