Not sure whether it's wise to say this but....

I uh... never really liked the tune tbh. The Lightform mix was decent imo, but nothing more.

Well, the acid tune around ~1:40 is borrowed from Quench - Dreams, and the piano around 5 minutes in feels eerily similar to Robert Miles - Children. Gamemaster is basically a "dark" version of Children with additional acid lines and the melody from Quench - Dreams.

Yeah, that too (although I hadn't noticed the Children piano until now)

Just noticed this, but the original version of Gamemaster is actually from 1997 (Distant Voices EP). I imagine that it caught so much attention that it was re-released in 99, though, along with a bunch of remixes.

Signum mix is my favourite work of theirs. They've basically created a new track and only retained the vocals from the original. And what a track, the moment the synths appear in the breakdown is just... 🤯

The Lost Tribe 99 mix is also fantastic, up there with the signum mix

One among other few "classics" I never would listen to these days...its as boring as greece 2000 and agnelli & nelson - el nino
