I made this specifically for a recent mix set.
The opening hour or so contains a fair bit of melodic, progressive house. So I went for a similar style for this track with some overt trance influences.

The vocal sample is from a Russian vocal sample pack, no idea what they are singing! So I looked around at various Russian words and place names to see if anything worked as a track name, and Sevastopol kinda stood out.

All feedback and comments appreciated and as always, if anyone wants to have a pop at remixing or playing around with this (Or any of my original tracks for that matter) then let me know! ;)

Not bad! It's not overly memorable but works, can't fault it for anything.

Reminds me of something Solarstone would play in his show also a bit of Orchidea's deep progressive tunes/remixes. I love the vocals.

That baseline is incredibly catchy and enjoyable to listen to. It's a nice track man, I didn't feel like skipping once in fact I played through it a few times. Those vocals are nice touch and work well. The various synths you have used are simple and pleasant, they are varied enough to stay interesting. As a melodic progressive house track it works nicely. Agree with Recharge it sounds like something Solarstone would play.

My feedback on improvement is that I want more balls. The groove is there. I get its a melodic prog house which is more safe by nature, but why should it be? I am craving touches of darkness or rawness that helps keep things more interesting, give it more energy or make it standout from your average prog-tune. Maybe it's some very small use of acid, some interesting analogue/organic touch, or even just one interesting key change or element that breaks the straightforward nature of something. More bold with the ideas maybe, even if it's just in a small way. Just my two thoughts.
