This is my favorite track of yours. The rework has an interesting, unusual sound, although I’ll still prefer the original for its more serious vibe (y)

Cheers mate - i agree the original is one of my best tracks - i was fairly happy with this rework, its cleaner and punchier - but i couldnt quite capture the 'magic' of the original....this ties in with a comment i made the other day, about producers make their best tracks early on in their career, and never quite recapture those times.

And at a length of 10:49 for this,no labels or DJs are going to touch it nowadays haha!

My Chilled stuff is far more popular now - i have a tiny 'hardcore' fanbase for my 4/4 beats Trance, and thats about it 😂😂

That’s exactly how it is. At the beginning of any journey, it’s always like this: your eyes are burning, and you’re brimming with so many ideas. You’re not afraid to create, even if it doesn’t meet certain generally accepted quality standards; you simply pour your entire soul into it and get inner satisfaction from the completed work.
I always recall how I once stumbled upon a Twitch stream by The Thrillseekers. He was just working in the studio, trying to create something. He was making numerous parts and very beautiful, memorable melodies, then he’d discard it all and create something new from it. The sound, the melodies everything was constantly changing, and something new was born, these incredible improvisations. I was amazed at the time: it was the best thing I had heard all year in trance music, and he so easily discarded those ideas… Perhaps for him, they didn’t meet his quality standards, or I don’t know, he didn’t see the potential in them. Although as a listener, I was simply thrilled back then! I imagined how great it would be to hear those track variations if they were finished works.
Perhaps, with years and experience, producers’ own vision and quality bar change and are re-evaluated
