it's kinda funny and ironic that his downfall (even by dj mag ratings going down etc) started around 2010 when he started chasing commercial success instead of staying true to his sound. and the more he's trying to chase this cutting edge trending stuff over the years, the less popular and interesting he was becoming. I reckon now he's in all time low point, lost everything they were building with Coldharbour, with all the key artists gone for other bigger labels or the labels with better approach towards artists, lost all of his older fans, and being utterly uninteresting to the new/younger audience.

I would like to give them a chance. Markus was working recently with Daxson on (probably) two tracks for ISOS (these were available on instagram but they are deleted now).

I also would love to see Sasha’s Remix of „Mercury & Solace”, not only on compilation but on vinyl edition as well. Black Hole has a perfect summer track in their hands and I won’t believe that they will end its promo with single release.

If they had stopped with Tiesto, it would be one complete legendary compilation, bringing huge nostalgia to all trance fans. They did it right with Magik. THey should stop it back then.

They could have EASILY started a new mixed compilation under a different name, and it's Black Hole, people will give it a try.

As I said before, Markus should have continue his City Series which was definitely his signature compilation. Or...just starting a new one, he has been a big name for more than a decade now, he doesn't need ISOS, and ISOS doesn't need nobody.

well, the last one in city series, Buenos Aires 13 was already very sloppy and a big step down so I reckon in Markus case it was an inevitable degradation no matter how you call it, also a matter of his label starting losing key artists left and right around that time

Clearly the stupid fans are loving this shit he is playing. I have spoken to Elevation as well told him how I miss how he used to make his older stuff but these guys have changed. His degradation started way before then dude. Go back to 2006 with that electro shit he made with elevation and don't get me started with that world Punk tour shit with Ferry Corsten.

Better than last year‘s Awakening. Perhaps he was looking longer than one year for this. Reminds me a bit of ISOS 16 vibe. The interlude short tracks deliver more storytelling to the whole.
