After I'd discovered the remix I listened to it every day for a couple of months. Fantastic work. I like the original too, but if I had to choose I'd still choose the Mark Otten remix.

BTW, this seems like a collaboration between Schulz and Elevation. So the title should say "Markus Schulz & Elevation", or something similar (I know it was released as "Markus Schulz presents Elevation", which is a bit confusing).

A lost sound today and even at the time of its release it was unique. Moving music

Was going to post but thankfully the search works well and could dig this out. It's a standout Coldharbour Rec release, If I had to choose it would be the Mark Otten remix, although I do love the sound of the percs on the original and I hold them almost equally good.

So many things I love from Mark Otten Remix. I always feel it was thoughtfully crafted.

First time hearing the percs around 1:43 I know it's going to be good. He then adds that 909-ish metallic open hats which gives something more to remember from the drums. And not until main climax he brings up the clap/snare (eventhough subtle in the background). The overall beatwork has personality and progresses with the flow, which kind of rare nowadays.

Also, bonus points for using staged build ups and for not using supersaws as main leads.

Mark Otten Remix is a masterpiece. He had his own take on the original, and it's so much different, both in comparison to the original, and basically 99.99% of trance out there! Gotta respect that. Besides, it's an amazing track. Prefer it to the original by quite a large margin.

I played the Mark Otten Remix while I was commuting to work this morning. And since then, I can't get it out of my head. Just want to listen to it again. What a track!
