Marsh - Mercy [Anjunadeep]

I was listening to his new EP that just came out, and this one stood out to me— fantastic tune. It reminded me of his older darker sounds.

I slightly prefer the other track called Hope, but they are both solid

There is something nice about Mercy, especially when the nice strings come in against the crunchy synth. The atmospheres are nice, although sound design sounds a bit blown out on the high end for me at points in the track. Would have prefered a more energetic or interesting percussion too.

Hope also has some nice atmos stuff going on too, but again the arrangement/percs have a lot to be desired. Glad he is trying different kinds of melodic stuff tbh, as his releases in past few years felt a bit stagnant/samey on Anjuna and others.
