Ohhhhhhhhhh loving the vibes here! Perfect 1 AM kind of track. No feedback necessary, this is brilliant already.

And people say you need a DAW, this synth, that sample pack, these effects... Fuck that. You only need your brain.

Which tracks and producers were your inspiration? I'm asking because I can hear one but just wanna check if I'm right.

Also: DL link?

Thanks for the kind words, @Gagi, I appreciate that! If there is even one more person apart from myself that likes it, then my job is done.

I'm aware of at least 3 different items that can be improved, but I've been trying to finish this since August, so I just went with it.

There isn't any particular producer or song that I had in mind, but surely there are plenty of influences. I've been listening to mainstream trance and electronic music since '98, so I got stuck with enough tunes in my head that can come out here and there without even noticing. I'm curious though who you had in mind.

to be honest it's my work phone (do not tell my manager!)
But yes, it is done in GarageBand and so are my previous entries.

So you didn't make it on your phone (as it's your workphone 😛😛😛)

Anyway, I like the vibe and atmosphere.

The drums are a bit... cold, static, empty. That snare for example is so short. But I guess it's just a stock sample in Garageband.

For what it is, and knowning you did this on a phone... I say: very well done.

the snare could be made longer, but i really lack knowledge in the percussion department, so I keep under delivering on that. One day though!

I think everything works. Both on speakers, as well as on headphones.

Could be made better/amazing sound-quality-wise, have lots more details, but I like it even like this (with small imperfections like that bassline not being properly aligned with the drums/beats). It's good music, it's as simple as that, it just works!

Great work, really enjoyed this. Really loving the night time vibes going on this.

Before I type anything else, let's start with:

Uhh, you made this on your phone?
Not sure what app this was made on, but I've got a copy of FL Studio Mobile on my phone, it's ridiculously powerful for a phone app.
But then again, most modern smarthphones are many times more powerful than the brick of a PC I had for running the early versions of Reason in the early 2000's

Nice one marvas. Definitely the best one you've shared so far. It doesn't sound like you made it on phone, but at the same time you can kind of tell that it's been made using template samples as it feels a bit amateur due to how flat it can feel with some elements. It's most apparent with the percussion. You could also do with adding something else into the mix because it feels too empty for me overal.

Thanks, Hensmon! I am pleased with the idea behind every one of these songs, but I have to say I would be more than curious what someone with real skill could make out of it. If it could be done properly and in full.
