I've got another one that I've always missed and has not been mentioned yet...

Phynn.

He didn't have that much big ones, he disappeared quite quickly. But Lucid, Exotica, Hightide, Close Encounter, Tempest and of course the Fictvision/Phynn 'Escape' track were all great. Very talented guy.

I know he moved to the USA at some point and does some kind of IT-related job. He had a few techno-ish tracks in the recent years, but he pretty much left the music scene. Too bad.
he's had what already was seen as a "comeback" around 2010-2012 with Coldharbour (mostly) but that was rather disappointing

  • Simon Templar (seems to have no new releases after his album Balance in 2017)
  • Oliver Prime (nothing new since 2014; had one of the very best psychedelic progressive sounds ever)
  • Ilya Malyuev (was more a progressive house producer toward the end, but my God, what a producer!)
  • Timewave (seems to have been quiet for the last seven years)
  • Kamil Polner (had a very lush uplifting sound)
  • Terrafusion (another lush uplifting sound for their time)
  • Vibrasphere/Robert Elster (I know they'll probably never work together again, but it's been too damn long even since Elster's solo releases!)
  • Eco (at least until he releases the new album)
  • Whirloop (the two best uplifting psytrance albums you never heard of....and then he started doing swing house)

I think this is his final official release. The original track seems to have surfaced on YouTube around 2016, but the official remix came out in 2018, so it’s actually a relatively recent piece, not something from the old days. You can definitely hear his signature style in it. However, given that Cressida is also credited as a remixer, the original probably dates back much further than 2016 it feels like it came out of some dusty old archives. Regardless, Probspot is probably my most-listened-to artist, and his music is honestly something I really miss

Phynn remix of Ernesto Vs Bastian - stop 9.5 is an all timer for me
