Most missed producer in the trance scene.

As many of you know, there was a most missed producer thread on the old Trancefix forum. Seeing the Rex Mundi thread recently posted inspired me to make a new thread. The scene has had many great producers come and go. Quite a few either changed genre's or just left the music world all together. Here are some of my most missed producers.

Rex Mundi. As I mentioned in the Rex Mundi thread, his music was a huge inspiration to me and even went so far as to inspire my very first release. Everything he put out was pure quality(although I will admit some of his newer stuff towards the end wasn't exactly my cup of tea). I really hope he does one day come back to the scene.

Galen Behr. I remember when I was still somewhat new to the trance genre discovering his music on the ASOT 2006 year mix. Carabella, Shift Of The Ages, In The End(under his Ave Mea guise) his work under Passiva etc. Although he did move away from the uplifting sound toward the end of his career opting for a more Progressive/Progressive House style, I still quite enjoyed his releases. He then just vanished in 2010. I still wonder what happened to him.

JPL is another one I was(And still am) truly fond of back in the day. Had some many great Progressive releases. He still occasionally does release music, but no where as much as he did back in the day.

Who's your most missed producer?

My standard answer to this is of course Svenson. But in the last decade there are more names who can be added. A good one who I really admired but doesn't really make music the way he used to...

Paul Moelands aka Re:Locate / Octagen

What a producer he was! Big monster trancers like Absoluum, Metropolitan, Flyback, Undercurrent.... and the possibly more known Rogue, Spirit, Alcatraz. One of the best of the 2005-2010 years.

Peter Sáfrányos/Emotional Horizons is sourly missed at least by me. Great guy, very humble/friendly, Brilliant productions.

Last i heard from him he was into funky/groovy house a lot. Would be great to see him make a comeback one day.

Oddly enough I meant to also put Re:Locate in my initial post. I remember being obsessed with his work back in the day. Rogue was such an Awsome album.

First ones that came up to my mind - Alphazone, Marino Stephano, Pulser and mentioned above Ace da Brain.

But 99% chances are that they wouldn't stick to their true style by now.

isn't he like ghost producing for talla's technoclub gang or something
but true, he's old hard trance days with marc la cruz and his own monikers will sorely be missed
Yeah, he's ghosted a few techno tunes on Fe Chrome in recent years. Plus he wrote a handful for Talla around a decade ago - No Inbetween, Shine and I Know (Dub) are worth a fumble.

Soft spot too for this. The real Ace is in there somewhat. Like if you wired Michael Schumacher up to a Daytona USA arcade machine right now. He wouldn't finish last, but wouldn't win either.
