I take it you are new to music production. My suggestion would be to try to recreate or remix some of your favorite tracks. Or a track in the direction you would like to go with music.

While doing so, really pay attention to what sort of sounds (layers) are used in those tracks. What can you hear? Lot's of percussion perhaps, different sorts of hihats, effects (wind etc), and obviously the synths. Is the bassline just one sound, or does it consist out of multiple parts complementing each other, to form the "one" bassline?

While recreating a track, you will also get to learn about arrangements. How do others build up towards a (break and) climax?

Of course everything is just a guidline. In the end, your main goal hopefully is to create your own sound (and not just copy). But for starters, I believe it's really good to first see how other's did it, and learn from that.

It's pretty damn nice actually. It doesn't evolve anywhere though, but the ideas are there. Getting some early 90s ambient vibes, which is always good. It's still a bit raw and rough around the edges, but a nice starting position, and you could make a great track from it.

I guess, apart from variation, you could work on sound design (such as making these sounds a bit richer, warmer if you know what I'm saying).

The sample in the OP has a nice foundation, but as stated needs some more variation, both in the small details and execution of whats already there and also generally as an idea as it doesnt really go anywhere. Its a nice atmosphere though, just needs proper development into a track

The only thing I'd like changed is that short solo piano section, you need to have something more there. It needs something more.

Otherwise, has a lot of potential to be a really lovely track. Well done man.
To be fair I spend the whole day yesterday thinking of something to add. I am not yet at that level creatively. But I am spending this whole week focusing on producing a few tracks. Later on when I get better I will return I finished them. On to the next one :)

A melodic techno I just made. I will probably explore a whole lot of different styles before I get deeper into trance...

Some nice ideas here.

Really like the percussion, has a really nice groove to it. Although the cowbell type sample sounds a little bit loud to me.

The opening pad synth sounds really harsh though, may want to cut out some of those resonant frequencies in there.
The synth work in general is nice, but sounds a little dry. That pad synth though seems to overpower everything.

You're sound overall is definitely progressing though mate, keep it up & I look forward to hearing some more!

I actually went and made the cowbell less noticeable. Even for me it seemed a little bit loud. I went and redid the synth sound, but not sure how it will sound now its actually 3 sounds layered into one. Thanks I actually really need some honest feedback since sadly no one at home listen electronic music. I will reupload it since I have SC pro. Believe it or not this is around my 30th revision of the song since last night :)

Edit: LOL I spend the whole night redoing some parts, layering more stuff, making some mastering adjustments., making new intro. I think for now I am going to live it as it is. Comeback when I have fresh mind, maybe... There is always the next one 😃

I can believe it as I do it a lot myself! 😆 It's all part of the process.
Being able to self edit and be objective about your own music is an important skill.
It is also very important to get honest advice from other people (Most family aren't good for this as they will always want to be supportive and tell you it's good)

Keep at it though. It's good you are trying out other genres as well, always great to widen your skill set as that will rub off in your future productions!
