Great release on Forescape from Narel and Cosmithex. You can hear the influences of both.

So many things to like about this, the lead melody being one of the highlights of the track.

First thing that came to my mind was how I'd love to hear an Arizona vs Passiva/Orjan/etc. remix in their style from like 2006, because it reminds me of them. Just misses a bit of pace and rhythm to be mindblowing. Still, will be enjoying this.

Bear in mind these guys dont go to more accessible styles of trance. This is as far they go. They dont go to club/old asot uplfting styles. Their styles resides within modern acid/prog/clean light "psycadelic" influenced trance. Although, this flirts a little with more accessible club trance.

132 bpm huh? Could have gone up to 136/7 easily. First i was surprised it was as fast as it was but now it does feel a bit halting in pace.

It's not even accessibility for me, was just sort of wanting that style as it reminded me of it.

In any case, caught myself repeating that melody in my head while I was making some coffee, which is a good sign.

As the boss man said above, great to see people enjoying this one. I sat on the parts of this track from Cosmithex for over a year and finally got my arse into gear to add my bits to it. The lead melody is based on a pluck riff Cosmithex made which plays in the start of the breakdown. Kinda going for Moogwai/Yahel feel.
I then went off that lead melody and made the one in the alternative mix, which I still prefer…. I think.

It's interesting to see so many good feedback here and 1 download for each version of the track on Beatport so far.

Soon as it hits bandcamp you'll see that tally turn to... 2 downloads, ha!

Honestly though if one thing could be used to show why Trance is a shadow of its former self it's the reality your comment. None of us are willing to spend money on music anymore and support the scene. We'll be the first ones to criticize the state of it too. We sucked the life from it by wanting more than ever (streaming) and giving as little back as we possibly can. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if the steroid fans spend more on average per year than the underground champions.

I think when you do music like this its only because yourself enjoys it, unfortunetly people in general dont care about quality trance. In my world Cosmithex, You Are My Salvation, Facade, Narel & so on deserve to be superstars.
Regarding downloads its dying rapidly, its going down every year pretty much worldwide in all countries. Bandcamp is the future. I never understod the importance from artists and labels of showing beatport chart progressions when it doesnt mean more then like 10 downloads anyway.

But my point is that in the underground we are all talk no action. We're the most vocal on the demise yet contributing completely to that outcome.

Yeah the overal global trend is to buy less but the majority don't have the same passion or commitment to music as underground listeners, so I don't blame them for turning to spotify. Us on the other hand... Ok maybe we go to shows and support, but that has its own unique problems too.

The world changed.. but I still buy vinyl and it looks like that other people too, many times a 500x release is out of stock in two or three weeks..
