His last release? Didnt he say he was quiting, or am I thinking of someone else?

He did, yes. I don't know if it's his last, though. Usually, you'd find artists will have a lot of unfinished tracks or pending releases so I'm assuming he's working through them. I'm not sure.
I'm hoping not to be honest. I see he has an upcoming gig soon and hope it changes his mind!

He said that he will quit after a year from now on, if im not wrong...
The track is excellent, sounds like a combination of old and new sound

The musical ideas here are decent but is let down by the style of mixing/mastering. His productions back in the Anjuna years sounded much more balanced / clean / less-compressed.

Even though I like the track It's really true what you said. It's a night and day difference. Does the mastering man for Anjuna leave in mid 00's and someone else replace him and the talent has gone to produce such balanced sounds? Or do producers make the decision that this sounds better now 🤷‍♂️

Agree with the mastering issue, the track has wonderfull melodic parts, while the production so far from being clean....

Sometimes I wish labels releases 2 mastering versions, the loud one and another with more dynamics, instead of giving us radio edits. But yeah I know, there's cost for mastering and revenue from releases probably won't be enough to cover it.

About the track, it's lovely as usual. But this one seems the shortest compared to his other upliters, only 5.55.
