Hear the polyrhytms ? Basil ceratainly dont use this. its just the same boring static beet throuhout
And im not only talking about the drums here. Every element in this track has a different rhythm makking it sound so vivid and well-flowing.

I know what you were talking about, there and in Allende's thread. On the one hand I agree, but on the other the analysis/awareness of the 'faults' kills the enjoyment and I really enjoyed both.
But here you might be comparing what's not to compare. In case of Basil's work, wouldn't and old prog track be a better comparison than something as fast-paced as this?
