I'm looking to get back into producing, and bedroom DJ'ing again. I was wondering what do you guys think of Native Instruments traktor kontrol S2? I had a 4 channel pioneer DJ controller before, but I never really utilized all of its features, and unfortunately I had to sell it due to financial reasons. In the future, I'm looking to do maybe live sets too. I'll be mixing mostly trance/prog. house, so I want something that can natively work well with Traktor pro (since I've heard it is mostly good for mixing EDM). I know people say rekordbox is good, or it is industry standard, but I'm not totally sold on it, especially with that subscription based service. Also, is STEMS a required feature for mixing trance/prog. house, and are there famous trance/prog. house DJ's that use STEMS a lot?
