Spacey uplifting track from the heyday of trance.
Always liked the nice little break at 2:33. It feels very "of its time" and anthemic.

Oliver Lieb remix:
Good version, and more atmospheric than the original. I still prefer the original mix, but this is a great alternative.

Force Mass Motion remix:
This one is pretty true to the spacey vibe of the original. I think this would have been the best version to play at a club due to its bassline and consistent energy. It retains the melody from the original but does not feel as up-and-down anthemic.

Commie mix:
This version focused on the tech-y parts of Wide Eyed Angel yet also feels vaguely Oliver Lieb-like. The remixer used a fairly muffled sound to simulate the original melody, which is okay but feels a bit off. In my opinion, this is the weakest version of the four. Halfway in this becomes balearic (with the distorted guitar and ambient sounds), so as a whole it's not cohesive. Maybe a more melodic start would have been better.

The original inversion mix on Steel Yard was 12:21 in length. For some inexplicable reason Lost Language decided to edit it for their rerelease.

The B side to the Steel Yard release was the Exposed mix. Awesome mix too. Again for some weird reason Lost Language didn't release this mix.

Of the remixes I really like Lieb's mix but need to give the FMM mix a good listen.

Good news is that Steel Yard music seem to be up and running again and plan to release new mixes of the track.
Check out their Facebook page

Here's hoping they also rerelease those original mixes!
