Finland's No.1 DJ Orkidea returns to Pure Progressive with the infectious Taka Tiki Tum. This is undeniably classic Orkidea; constructed around a hypnotic vocal line, stripped-down sparse production and a glorious club vibe that harks back to Sasha & Digweed's first Renaissance mix compilation from the early nineties.

Some recognizable elements from Orkidea and nice parts. However I did not really enjoy that taka tiki tum vocal part.

More like a fun track from him, its quite empty with just a slight melody presence.. I prefer his usual style. This is a set filler, nothing more for me.

It's got a good groove but too barebones.

Quite like the vocals! Something refreshing at least, and I think they work well. A bit simple and a filler - yeah - but it's a nice, casual summery track.

Too barebones for me as well, which is a shame because I love the vocals. Almost there. Even the addition of the pan flutes is really nice but doesn't really do much with it. Where is the drive, energy and flow? I dont mean make it 138, but give me a groove and emotion that takes me for the ride.
