P.O.B. - Darkness / Lightness [Platipus]

Techno meets Trance stuff, with some cool basslines/production and general hypnotic approach. Personally I want more Trance elements/details to juxtapose the techno feel when the track is building (I find this stuff a touch too boring), but I really like the 'break' on Lightness and when it finally gets going. Need to give em more listens to make up my mind. Lightness my favourite.

I like how Platipus is keeping it's trademark sound for more than 25 years now. One of my top 5 favourite trance labels.

Darkness reminds me of Art Of Trance style, no wonder POB has collaborated with him in 2004.

Platipus sorta fell off the radar after the early-mid 2000's so I guess they don't really care much about the masses and keep doing their own underground thing. Good stuff.

They seem to be releasing a little more regularly than usual this year though. Did you check those releases Pangolin and Martian Sunrise? There were some tracks in those EP that were pretty sweet
