Heaney was always involved in the original 2009, he wrote the main lead for the track and maintained all the rights of the track. Youre right Pawel was involved but to discredit Gary is wrong!

There is also 2011 version which i really enjoy listening to with tighter / beefier bassline, additional side chaining, arrangement but 2009 is the OG version I listen to both side by side.

Edit: Do you know if same thing could be said about Too Far Gone - is it that collab/engineering between Garry Heaney & Activa?

You are correct Rob was involved in the creation of too far gone, but again with Garry writing the main lead. I got to know Garry when he resided in the Netherlands and likely asked all the same questions you would ask LOL!

I am led to believe he took control fully of his productions from 2011/2012 remixes and beyond, although I think the main lead of oracle was a mix of him with input from Bronzwaer who they met through their education and working science life.

I really like this 2026 version and gives the track the more driving side of the track which lacked in the org 2009 version. Although the original is such an epic euphoric track, probs one of my favorite from 2009. Another unknown about this track is Garry sent it to Armin and he replied that he wanted to sign it but the email went to Garry email spam folder and he ultimately signed it to Spinnin. Armin spun it in continuously in 2009, just shows how good it was as to Armin Garry choose not to sign it to Armada but unbeknown to him he never received Armins reply to sign it. A few years later they met and Armin found out what had happened.

2009 version will always be the one, 2011 Luke bond remix is quite good as well, I just wished Allan Morrow had gone full uplift after the break part but then again its a darker version of it and still has that DNA in Morrows bassline after the break/drop part.

2026 version definitely focuses more on the drive part and has that to the point Activa kinda approach. Vocal fits with title 'Citation' and takes it up a notch for sure. Really decent modern version

So sad to read about missed opportunity with Armin, maybe there's still going to be a chance in 2030 for WAO138 or another Armada label.

Yes similar to Citation, Zegema Beach and Spitfire, He wrote the main lead but Pawel brought the super saw lead to it. I recon they were very good together and produced some unreal uplifting trance tracks. Garry tracks were always supported by big hitters and his more recent tracks and remixes found air time on BBC Radio 1 where he met Tristan D and then Garry wrote both they tracks with input from Tristan, hence how he played for Judgment in Ibiza as part of the Jules brand.

I dont know how this 2026 version came about, but I know Pawel and Garry still are friends as he booked Pawel to play at his Rehab club night in Scotland ~2009 and they became friends every since. I think they both knew that they could lift it up and make a good remix. I really love the vocal aspect to the track. Funny to read that pawel lives in Germany now and Garry is in Australia. Opposite ends of the world and they have brought this 2026 version together.
