Facade, Nomas and Obie Fernandez delivered stunning remixes of 'Society' by Pico Boulevard. It's not possible to choose just one or even two versions here, phenomenal job from everybody. That's the deeper side of Trance music at its finest.

I'm personally proud of this release. Original is one of my favorite tracks of the year and these remixes are just amazing, everybody added something fresh.

the original was somewhat interesting (I even praised it somewhat) but these remixes have zero musical creativity imo. sounds like any other "modern" deep plod/tech trance. heard these type of tracks 1000 times already since early 2010s. very cliched fx,percs and synth choiches, and speach samples like these are terribly cringe. ^fuck society, haha....cmon!!

Original was cool, but for me the remixes don't offer anything too new or exciting.

I feel kinda similar to DS about the speech samples. When I think of speech samples used in the 90s it had so much more creativity and flare compared to what the prog producers default to today. It was like an instrument in itself. I don't mind this one too much though, it does work well at points.

Facade remix is quite cool at points tbf!

I really like the original and for me it doesn't need a remix but if i would pick one i'd go for the Nomas remix.

OP is missing the Obie Fernandez remix btw.

I hear what some others are saying, and I do agree that this subgenre has stagnated a fair bit over the last few years. Still, really enjoyed it, especially the Nomas remix. I suppose for fans who haven't been saturated in the prog house/trance sounds of the past 10-15 years, this is another top release. Does make me wonder where this space goes in the future as the longer term fans seem to have moved on.
