You and I have often been at the forefront of criticizing endless UpLiFtInG remakes (read: butcherings) of classics. While I have given up on the issue entirely and am in no way, shape or form contributing towards the resolution of the problem, you're actually showing people how it should be done. Both are quite simple, tasteful, fun, and sonically very good.

But... While I don't really care much about either classic, even if I did I don't think these remakes would replace them in my playlists. But then again, the intent behind these is not that, so I guess all is good.

Nice take here Julian! I like how you've used some of the parts in the climax in the intro, works really well. Sounds used are great as well, I can really feel that Svenson esque too, reminds me of Destination Sunshine

Not really heard many remixes of this tbh compared to other classics. There was a cover-ish version by First State & Vigel on ASOT which I did enjoy back in 2017 (even though they couldn't get the original melody cleared) so nice to see another take

I've been listening to this the last 3 days. Absolutely brilliant!

As usual at first I was like oh damn, another remix of a classic nobody asked, then I saw the name of our guy from here and gave it a try and fell in love. Very very good work. Pleasant timeless trance with modern sounds and mastering. Classic. Thx for the free download! I dunno which label has PPK copyrights, but imo a label should release this imo.

I thought Fluoro since they released multiple versions. I send it months ago, but they didn’t listen to it at all.

One of my favourite all time classics. Basically any good use of a sine wave sends my mind to space. And PPK - Resurrection nailed it.

Some really good sounds used here. Some close to the original but with a slight variation, some sound pretty exact, some different - all really good.
That pad at 3.10 is class.
I guess the standard classic trance type bass line is unavoidable but still good here.

Overall a really well put together piece and enjoyable listen.

Was on my list to try a remix some time. So well jealous you beat me to it

very rarely i enjoy these remakesd as they dont bring anything nerw to the table, but this was very well executed! I liked how it didnt went full on at drop. Al so the back rhytmic synths sounded top notch,very smooth, which vsti you used?
