Recently someone uploaded a picture of real Monet to X, but then proclaimed he made it with AI, and asked people to describe how it was different. So many responses of people not just 'seeing' how fake it was, but how low quality the work is. Worth a read

"off", "Incoherent", "no sense of space", "slop", "looks like shit", "obviously no depth, contrast or cohesion"... etc

It shows how your own mental rules and beliefs will change the art in font of you. from masterpiece to slop, just because you applied your own construct onto the experience. It's interesting. What would happen if your view on AI was one of optimism, or you saw the positives in it?

It happens outside of AI too, for example if I see a bad/silly track name, it somehow makes me enjoy the track less, which is stupid. Also, no question that ISOS series feels more special to me, because we all sort of collectively get behind it. I'm sure there are bedroom mixes with better track selection and mixing that will never take such a place in my heart/head.

A bad track name would never put me off a good track hehe. But i do remember back in the day,if a compilation CD had a really bad or boring design,id take a dimmer view of it haha. I used to love the Euphoria and Gatecrasher artwork on the CDs..

A little ashamed to admit, but I enjoyed this for far to long before I realized it was AI generated music. How are they making this? Sound quality sounds miles better than was Suno was giving me when I had a quick try last year. Has it just improved that much, or is there a different workflow now?
