Would have preferred a prog-house album from him, but after listening once I actually liked the ambient style of this one.

How do you feel about this album? After listened to it for about 5 times, I really like it.

Antarctic Parrots reminds me of BT's Skylarking, and Fernweh reminds me of some of the Robert Elster tracks in his Endless Observations album. My favourite track in the album might be Izumo Sunrise, such a pretty piano melody!

I almost like it :/
It's not bad at all, but unfortunately I feel like every track adds elements that are a bit cheesy. Kinda influencer b-roll music type vibe.

I haven't been able to fully connect with any of his contemporary productions. He's definitely carved out a new distinguished sound, but I still miss his prog house stuff that was a staple of early Anjunadeep. Granted I haven't been following him closely, so I'm sure there's a few recent things he's made that I'd like, cause on the surface I do like it. It's just not fully clicking for me.

He did an AMA on reddit. Listed Ultimae & other psybient artists as influences. So that's why you're picking up on Elster sounds~

I really like this album, and now finally remixes are coming. Hope that there will be a remix of Izumo Sunrise.
