Ralphie B had quite a unique sound as a producer in the 2000's but this just sounds like hes fallen into that generic sound that most producers seem to be forced to make - could be anyone making this tbh. Its a nice melody though, and 10 years i probably wouldve loved it and supported it.

I'd say in early 2010s as well. The melody is a bit overdramatic (which fits the style).

It's not bad. Nice strings in the breakdown. Not the worst plucky melody.

But I dunno. I'm just not in a phase where I enjoy much of these "tralalalalala pluck pluck pluck mellow rippling on" trance. Even the properly produced ones. I'm tired of this type of trance.

Let's come up with something fresh Ralph, like Sierra Nevada.

The melody is actually one of the best I heard recently. The sound is typical todays 138. Well I dunno guys, I like it quite a lot :)

There needs to be a complete overhaul of the templatised approach to doing music, particularly trance. Even a great melody (which this one does not have btw) can be completely ruined by the modern way of producing. Yes, it's nice to hear in a club once or twice, but it has no lasting effect, and this is the major problem with trance nowadays. it's made for a quick attention span because next week you'll find 104548326 other similar tracks.
