Here's my own remastered 2020 version. The original is hard to find on vinyl and virtually non existent in digital form.

I only include tracks that have never been made available in digital format (neither on CD nor as a WEB release).

  1. The Source Experience - The Source Experience [1993]
This just makes no sense to me. This is one of the best trance tracks ever created. And it's only on vinyl.
  2. DJ Wag - Life On Mars (Y.O.M.C. Mix) [2001]
This is by far the most popular version of Life On Mars, yet this is literally the only mix/version of it that is vinyl-only. Why? Also, not to be confused with the Y.O.M.C. Global Mix, which is a totally different track.
  3. Malcolm McLaren - The Bell Song (Parks & Wilson V's Obscure Remembrance Mix) [1997]
This one is a little bit cheating because the full uncut 15:15 long version technically did come out on CD, but only in Spain, and that CD costs €100 (plus, even that version has a hard cut-off above 21KHz). All other digital/CD releases are shorter versions that completely butcher/remove the main melody of the track.
  4. Unreal - After Hours [1994]
This was on the B-side on Unreal's Phenomenon (which did get a CD release, by the way), yet history proved that ultimately After Hours became the more recognized/acclaimed track. Yet it's only available on vinyl.
  5. Soulsearcher Vs. Apollo 440 - Stop The Rock Vs. Can't Get Enough [1999]
This bootleg/mashup came out on the Rejected EP, and it has a CD release, but the track is part of a mix CD, so it's mixed over and incomplete.
  6. Atlantis - Fiji (Cequenza Remix) [1999]
One of the best remixes of Fiji (along with the Lange Remix and the Binary Finary Future Mix). Unfortunately, it's a vinyl-only release (it's available on CD, but a cut-down 8-minute version instead of the full, 10-minute version). At least as a nice compromise, George Winkworth (Atlantis/Cequenza) uploaded his previously unplayed vinyl rip after I asked him.
  7. DJ Alici - Ankhesenamun (The Lost Love Edit) [1999]
The Lost Love Edit basically adds a nice intro to the original track, making it even better. It's a vinyl-only release.
  8. Slyder - Score (Original Mix) [2000]
This track was made famous by Grand Theft Auto III. Vinyl-only and only a really bad quality lossless vinyl rip is floating around on the internet. Apparently, the track was at one point available on Slyder's website in WAV format, but now it's gone.
  9. Slyder - Neo (The One) [2000]
This track was made famous by Grand Theft Auto III. Apparently, the track was at one point available on Slyder's website in WAV format, but now it's gone.
  10. Sunday Club - Paladian Dawn [1995]
This track has been released both on vinyl and CD, but... the full uncut version was only ever played in Club Imperiale. I talked to Marc Mitchell, and he said they plan to remaster and release the full version of the track.

It looks like The Source Experience came out on CD after all.

Have I finally found a 320kbps version of Nephilin - Mirror World? How can I do the spectral analysis @Trance4m8tor?

Here is the track (expires in 30 days) @Daysleeper

Done for you! Seems like one more 128-160 kbp/s VBR rip.

Ha damn really. I wonder why it comes up as 320kbps on the file and the site I found it.

What software you using to pull up this analysis man?

A re-encode is so easy to make even by a trusted retailer (I remember buying from Beatport and some being transcoded) as many people won't care for quality.

I'm using Adode Audition 3.0. Audacity works a treat too.

Presumably because it's been imported into some software at its original bitrate then exported at 320. The number of bits goes up but you cannot recover frequencies that were never there in the original file.
Indeed mate, a transcode. I guess the frequencies were only full on the original master as was very likely pressed on wax.

BBG - Do Anything (Pink Bomb Remix)

There was at least two acetate copies floating around back in the day. Some mates contacted one owner on discogs and they had sold it and can't remember to who :(. Never seen a copy online anywhere and even Pink Bomb doesn't have it apparently.

Man, you managed to misunderstand me again. :D I always want the best quality version available, and I also happen to have every single track from that list I wrote (except Paladian Dawn, I only have the 12-minute version for reasons I've previously mentioned). But the point of my post was that regardless, those tracks should be released digitally for music preservation/etc. purposes.

Yeah, I have a 320kpbs MP3 version of it.
How is this different from this release? Same producer credit and length anyway. I have this one in FLAC from CD

This was such a great thread back then. I discovered a lot of little gems!

I actually have a track that might fit into this thread.

I heard this track almost 10 years ago for the first time and was never able to get it. As far as I know, it has never been released. Does anyone know if there exists a full version anywhere?
Btw: Is A.M.R. still producing? Haven't heard of him for a long time now. He made some great tracks and remixes back in the days.
A.M.R. is around every few months with a release. I have a few Tracks they were never actually released, One says it was but was only available on an Enhanced CDR but got fucked up during production so there was never an official release. and that would be Agnelli & Nelson ft Aureus aka Audrey Gallagher - Holding Onto Nothing (Armin Van Buuren's Universal Soul Remix) This is my#1 of all time personally I would say it was AvB's best production work of his entire career.

This track also was never meant to be released.....in fact I first heard it when Markus Schulz opened for Armin in a Club here in Chicago....that's how long this was around....it took me 4 months to find the name of it cause only Max & Markus had played it Live. Well just so happens Max Graham was playing in Chicago the week I found out the name. I hung out with him & his guys from Canada and asked if he would be nice enough to send me the track when he got home....HE Said No because it's an unapproved Bootleg of a Pop Song and will never see release....but he said hang...played the track in his set....took out a Marker & Autographed his OWN Personal CD-R he was using and gave it to me. See the pic below. Well eventually AvB was playing it & I think it may have gotten a release but that was years later....great moment.
