Hmm. It seems safe. It doesn't seem to go anywhere...
RM is good at taping into the emotional side of his productions but for this, the sun comes up and goes down the same for me.

Robert is one of our most consistent and best-selling artists on Pure Trance, so of course we welcome a new production from him with open arms. According to the man himself the track was inspired by the theme song from Paul Hogan’s 1986 movie Crocodile Dundee… We’re not sure how tongue-in-cheek that bit of trivia is but feel free to make up your own mind, presuming you’re old enough to remember it. Musically, Rob notches down the tempo a little compared to his earlier works – being sharp enough to note a subtle scene-wide shift in lower BPMs that seems to be happening at the time of writing – a shift that we welcome here at PT HQ. Slightly lower tempos allow grooves to be a little more relaxed, to create more of a mood and atmosphere. Built around a deceptively simple melody, this little beauty bears all of the traditional hallmarks that the trance world love Nickson for.

Production is awful sorry to say. all the sounds/elements just scratching on you inner ear with a scissor almost.

Cant say anything about the music, the production just makes it that bad

It takes it time in the breakdown, I like that. Subtle approaches always appreciated verses a standard emotionally charged hook melody right in the middle of the arrangement. God actually I am so happy to click a release and not have that be the case. Some atmosphere is at least attempted, it does put me in a Trance state, so I can respect that.

So that dig above about the production sounds above is probably hitting some truth unfortunately. I don't think it's that bad, but it's a track that needs warmth in the sounds but has none. Rhythmic elements are thin and yes a lil' scratchy. It's the same old story with modern productions over and over again. There are PLENTY of tracks I don't like from the old period of Trance, but I never complained about the sound or production elements of them almost ever, yet now its how I feel about 90% of tracks. What gives?

Came across this recently on beatport and I kinda like it. Sounds very Solar Fields - Catalyst inspired to me. Specifically Rezoning District @ 12:40

Gosh, you are so right about this. So much stuff past around 2012 imo just got sterile sounding. There's quite a lot of stuff I come across that musically is solid, but the mix/master ruins it. Stuff in the mid 00's was already fully digital, so why does so much now just sound lifeless?

Lound masters produced for streamers have killed it i reckon
